I agree with N3BB on this one, and further think that remote receivers
should not be allowed outside either one's zone or country, i.e. no USA east
coast stations with west coast receivers. Otherwise it will be a huge
advantage for people in places like UA0 vs., say, UN.
This concept smells even worse as remote receiver usage becomes common.
What point is served if EI5DI uses his remote 160 meter receiver in Chicago
to hear me, while I am using my remote 160 meter receiver in Frankfort to
hear him?
I do look forward, however, to having lots of remotely operated stations
with both receivers and transmitters located in rare DX locations where
travel thereto is a major impediment to their being active.

mushrooming Skimmer-equipped stations. Watch for this software to be the
next hot item!
Some might be pleased with this. This "boy and his radio" is not.
