Another tip which resulted from Necessity Being the Mother of Invention
is that you can send with your "other" hand by merely pointing your elbow
in the direction your fingers normally point, and grabbing the paddles
backwards. That inherent training that Scott pointed out will let you
send with little trouble. (This comes in handy when you absolutely HAVE
to use your right hand to reach something).
I have also found that I have developed some ability to type with my
left hand while sending on paddles with my right hand to avoid that
annoying delay between exchanges at high speed when I haven't quite
gotten the call into the entry field yet... hi ! Try it, it ain't as
