Personally I am grateful that the callsign is in the middle of the
exchange, at least for the CW Sweepstakes. I'm fairly new to all of this,
and my code speed isn't up to 40 wpm yet; I need a breather in the middle
of the long exchange so I can catch up. If people stop sending their
calls in the middle of the exchange, I don't think that the CW Sweepstakes
will attract participation from many newbies. The CW Sweepstakes are
tough enough with the long exchange and people not bothering to QRS to the
other station's speed.
