OK I give up _ I have used CT ver 9 for years - have submitted logs many
many times - no problem - and now I cannot find a combination to get the
arrl robot to accept my log.(I use just K7HP in the Subject: line )
1. Open 2007CWSS .bin
2. go to empty contact field after last qso
3. type WRITELOG - hit enter
4. get the K7HP.LOG file
5. Make K7HP .log file an atachment and send to cwss@arrl.org
6. Get following response :
Your submission to sscw@arrl.org does not appear to be in the
required Cabrillo format. Old style electronic summary sheets and log
files no longer meet the file format requirements of the contest and
can not be processed by the Contest Robot.
I tried three times - first using the K7HP.LOG from WRITELOG and all the
breakdown/analysis files. Rejected.
Decided that was my problem so loaded 2007cwss.bin again and typed WRITEARRL
in last field and hit enter - get another K7HP.LOG , attached that and got
same rejection.
Decided that since my computer sees a.LOG file as something to be opened
with WORD - opened it in NOTEPAD and saved it as a *.TXT ANSI file (it
still says K7HP.LOG )- attached that and sent it and same rejection.
What am I missing ? Here is a cut and paste of the header and first couple
contacts. It looks to me like the Cabrillo example on the ARRL web site .
