Re 486 laptop that would run CT OK in a Windows 3.1 shell but would lock up
when an attempt was made to start from DOS:
Thanks to all of you that answered and particularly those of you that
suggested REMing out the EMM386.EXE command line in config.sys. That fixed
it!
W8QZA/6 is now a happy CT user and looking forward to his first contest
without pencils and erasers!
