Ok, I'm a newbie at this so bear with me. I'm just playing around with some karlnet gear that I just picked up. I've got a few AP's and a few soho clients. It appears that the soho must be set to the NETID and FREQ of the AP or it won't work at all. My question is why do we have to set both? I mean, why not make the FREQ dynamic like in 802.11b stuff. This will really suck if we encounter interference and have to change channels (each and every client would have to be modified first). -Bob |
