I usually get about 300-600Kbps.
And my ping times from my house are around 14-22ms. But that is going across
my trusty Breezecom Pro.11 equipment to get there first... So Im not a good
candidate for latency since i have a extra hop or so. But we are going to
replace it with the AP1000 pretty soon and then we will be able to see if
the throughput increases or not.
At times the throughput might go down to 200Kbps. But since we are selling
128Kb connections it isnt that big of a problem. The clients dont see any
problem.. Just the guys that try to squeeze as much out of it as we can..
;-)

20 users on an RG-1000 huh??? what is your throughput like? How about
latency (pings)?
