NA RELEASE 9.26 IS NOW AVAILABLE
NA version 9.26 is now available for registered users on the LTA BBS
(412-528-8877). While the last "official" release was 9.23, interim
versions have been out in limited distribution in the meantime for
testing of bug fixes. Version 9.26 corrects the
following reported bugs:
- QRP contests would not use member # for rcvd nr in printouts.
- Sporadic occurances of program hanging with YAESU radios
connected.
- Program would crash if Remote Antenna Control enabled.
- Mult checking (F10) certain partial calls (ex. W, K, N, or VK)
in
contests with zones such as CQWW would cause the program to
crash.
- Calls with short portable prefixes (i.e., HR/K8CC) would not
score
country correctly.
- Version 1.18 of the NA Utility Program (NAU) fixes erroneous
duplicate
QSOs added when merging two .QDF files, and also problems with
performing "Similar Callsign Analysis" on large files.
Thanks to all the users that reported these bugs.
The following new features have been added:
- Audible alerts added for logging QSO (-.-), dupe (-..) or mult
(--)
to assist visually impaired operators.
- CW transmit-receive control added to replace VOX-type
semi-breakin
which allows sending messages from the computer with no delay at
the
end while having delay for CW sent from the paddles.
- FT-1000MP support added.
73,
Dave K8CC & Tim K3LR
