Thanks for the heads up. When looking at the multiplier file (FLQSO.MLT)
the multiplier name was "MARITIMES" but the abbreviation was "NS". Fixed now.
I'd sure like to know the logic behind why three VE provinces are lumped
together. Its done this way in SS because the ARRL Field Organization is
set up this way. Following that logic, FLQP mults are states and provinces
except for NB, NS and PEI are an ARRL section.
I also corrected a couple of small errors with other Canadian mults in
FLQP. For example, we had "NWT" for Northwest Territories while some new
contests use "NT" but FLQP uses "NW".
The contest sponsors are certainly within their rights to use whatever mult
abbreviations they want. We try to get it right, however I don't have time
to check for changes or verify accuracy for anything other than the major
contests so we have to rely on the NA user community. At the same time one
would hope the contest sponsors would resist the temptation to fiddle with
their mult lists.
