Users of the /*NA*/Logging Program can take advantage of the 2015 rule
change for the Michigan QSO Party that made "DX" stations a multiplier
/*for in-state stations only*/, by going to the MiQP Downloads page at:
http://www.miqp.org/Downloads.htm
and downloading the file MIQSODX.zip at the bottom of the page. This
.zip file contains two /*NA*/files:
* MIQSO3.CRT which is a new /*NA*/contest rules template which allows
"DX" to become a multiplier
* MIQSODX.MLT which is a new /*NA*/multiplier list which adds "DX" as
a multiplier
MIQSODX.DX must be unzipped, then:
* MIQSO3.CRT must be copied to the directory/folder with the other NA
rules template (.CRT) files
* MIQSODX.MLT must be copied to the directory/folder with the other NA
multiplier (.MLT) files
No other changes or updated program version is necessary.
These files can be used with any /*NA*/ program version, including the
free /*NADemo*/ version which is available on the MiQP web site.
To use this scoring method, in-state stations should select the "w/DX"
contest type on the program's "Log File Information" screen.
