I finally got my IC-746 working with my homebrew CI-V interface. Since
Configuration Editor 1.10 wouldn't take the IC-746 entry, I entered the radio
as an IC-735 and changed the address of the transceiver to that of an IC-735.
It works FB on HF, but on VHF (using the VHF SS contest) entering 144205
gives 114.4205. If the radio is on 2 meters entering 44195 will put the radio
on 144.195.
50 MHz spots work OK if the radio is on 50 or below, but if the radio is on 2
meters, entering 50125 puts it onto 150.125. Is all this a result of having
to cluge the radio as a IC-735, or does NA and/or ICOM not fully support
computer control at VHF?
