A further clue might be that, to the best of my knowledge, this problem
didn't exist before version 10.19. I've been using CAT with my FT-1000MP
for about a year without the problem. Was there a change made to the
Yaesu CAT routine in v10.19 / 10.20???
It also occurred to me that "priority" might be a factor? Keystrokes
should take priority over Yaesu polling, i.e. check the keyboard for a
keystroke before polling. Of course, once a poll begins, I guess a
keystroke could be missed at that point. Following your explanation,
perhaps a polling cycle for Yaesu is considerably longer than for other
radios, during which a keystroke could be missed?
