SOLAR FLARES  : Quiet conditions (<50% probability of C-class flares)
GEOMAGNETISM  : Active conditions expected (A>=20 or K=4)
SOLAR PROTONS : Quiet
PREDICTIONS FOR 25 Dec 2004  10CM FLUX: 098 / AP: 018
PREDICTIONS FOR 26 Dec 2004  10CM FLUX: 097 / AP: 018
PREDICTIONS FOR 27 Dec 2004  10CM FLUX: 100 / AP: 007

COMMENT: The only active region on the Sun (NOAA 0713, Catania number 90) 
has
now beta magnetic configuration and thus it is not very probable that it 
will
produce a C-flare. An interaction region between slower and faster solar 
wind
flows arrived this morning. It contained intervals of southward 
interplanetary
magnetic field, so the K index reached 4. We expect the geomagnetic 
conditions
to stay occasionally disturbed. However, it is unlikely that the K-index 
will
rise to 5.
