Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2018 Jan 29 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity remained very low. The solar disk was spotless. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available satellite imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to continue at very low levels over the next three days of the forecast period (29-31 Jan).

Energetic Particles

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal to moderate levels. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux continued at background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal to moderate levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels over the next three days (29-31 Jan).

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters indicated a return to a nominal environment. Wind speed was steady at approximately 350 km/s. Total field peaked at 7 nT while Bz did not drop lower than -5 nT. Phi angle was negative until 29/0200 UTC when it switched orientation to a positive sector.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are likely to become slightly enhanced over the next three days (29-31 Jan) under CH HSS influence.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at quiet to unsettled levels on days one through three (29-31 Jan) due to CH HSS influence.
