Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2018 Feb 03 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. Region 2698 (S03, L=196) returned to plage. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to continue at very low levels throughout the forecast period (03-05 Feb).
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux was steady at background levels throughout the period.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to persist at normal levels over the next three days (03-05 Feb) and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background levels throughout the forecast period.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters, as measured by the DSCOVR spacecraft, continued at nominal levels. Total magnetic field strength was below 5 nT through the reporting period. Solar wind speeds gradually declined from 375 km/s to around 310 km/s by the periods end. Phi transitioned from negative to positive between 03/0045 - 0739 UTC before returning to a negative sector.
Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to observed an enhancement in total magnetic field strength and wind speeds late on 04 Feb due to the anticipated onset of influence from a CH HSS. Enhancements are likely to gradually decline through 05 Feb.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.
Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be generally quiet on day one (03 Feb). The onset of a recurrent, positive polarity CH HSS is expected to cause periods of unsettled and active conditions on day two (04 Feb), followed by a decrease to quiet and unsettled levels on day three (05 Feb).
