Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2018 Jul 27 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low as the solar disk remained spotless. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available satellite imagery.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain very low all three days (27-29 Jul).
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached high levels with a maximum flux of 2,570 pfu observed at 26/1855 UTC. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background values.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to reach high levels for the next three days (27-29 Jul). The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind speeds, as measured by the DSCOVR spacecraft, suggested a return to a nominal environment. Total magnetic field strength was at or below 5 nT. Solar wind speeds steadily declined from a peak near 500 km/s at the beginning of the reporting period to near 400 km/s by the periods end. Phi angle was predominantly oriented in the negative sector.
Forecast: A nominal solar wind environment is expected to persist over the next three days (27-29 Jul).
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was at quiet levels.
Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at mostly quiet levels for the forecast period (27-29 Jul).
