Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2018 Aug 11 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low with a spotless disk. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available satellite imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low on 11-13 Aug.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal levels while the greater than 10 MeV proton flux continued at background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal levels on 11-12 Aug and normal to moderate levels on 13 Aug. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background levels throughout the forecast period.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters became slightly enhanced this period due to the influence of a weak CIR preceding a negative polarity CH HSS.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to remain slightly enhanced over the next three days (11-13 Aug) due to the influences of a CIR and negative polarity CH HSS.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to reach unsettled levels each of the next three days (11-13 Aug) in response to the influence of a CIR and negative polarity CH HSS.
