Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2019 Feb 09 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. The solar disk was spotless and no Earth-directed CMEs were observed.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to continue at very low levels on 09-11 Feb.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached high levels with a peak flux of 3,797 pfu observed at 09/2050 UTC. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to reach high levels on 09-11 Feb and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters remained enhanced through the period under negative polarity CH HSS influence.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to be enhanced on 09-10 Feb due to the influence of a negative polarity CH HSS. Recurrence and STEREO-A data suggest wind speeds around 500 km/s are likely during the peak phase of CH HSS influence.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field reached active levels this period.

Forecast: Unsettled conditions are expected for the remainder of 09 Feb through 10 Feb due to the influence of a negative polarity CH HSS. Quiet conditions are expected to prevail on 11 Feb.
