Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2019 Feb 10 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. The solar disk was spotless and no Earth-directed CMEs were observed.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to continue at very low levels on 10-12 Feb.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached high levels with a peak flux of 3,090 pfu observed at 09/2035 UTC. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to reach high levels on 10-12 Feb and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters remained enhanced this period under continued negative polarity CH HSS influence.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to be enhanced on 10 Feb due to the influence of a negative polarity CH HSS. A nominal solar wind regime is expected to prevail on 11 Feb. Another solar wind enhancement is expected on 12 Feb due to the influence of a negative polarity, south polar-connected CH HSS.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet to unsettled under continued CH HSS influence.

Forecast: Quiet to isolated active conditions are expected for the remainder of 10 Feb under continued, but weakening CH HSS influence. Quiet conditions are expected to prevail on 11 Feb with the return of a nominal solar wind regime. Quiet to unsettled conditions are expected on 12 Feb due to the anticipated influence of a negative polarity, south polar-connected CH HSS.
