Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2019 Oct 14 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. There were no active regions with sunspots and no Earth-directed coronal mass ejections were observed in available coronagraph imagery.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to continue at very low levels on 14-16 Oct.
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached moderate levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux was steady at background levels.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to reach moderate levels on 14-16 Oct, with high levels possible on 14-15 Oct. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels throughout the forecast period.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were at background levels this period under a nominal solar wind regime.
Forecast: The near-Earth solar wind environment is likely to become weakly enhanced on 14-15 Oct due to coronal hole high speed stream (CH HSS) effects. Background conditions are expected to return on 16 Oct.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet under a nominal solar wind regime.
Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be quiet to unsettled on 14-15 Oct due to weak CH HSS effects. Generally quiet conditions are expected to prevail on 16 Oct.
