Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Feb 08 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available satellite imagery.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be at very low levels on 08-10 Feb.
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal to moderate levels, and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at background levels.
Forecast: Moderate to high electron flux levels are expected through 10 Feb due to CH HSS influence. The proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters continued to be influenced by a high speed stream originating from a polar extension of the southern crown CH. Solar wind steadily decreased through the period from about 600 km/s to near 475 km/s by periods end. Total field ranged from 2-5 nT while the Bz component varied between +4 to -5 nT. Phi remained in a predominately negative solar sector.
Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to continue to diminish through 09 Feb as HSS influence wanes. A return to nominal levels is expected on 10 Feb.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was at quiet to active levels due to negative polarity CH HSS effects.
Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at quiet to unsettled conditions on 08 Feb as HSS effects persist. Mostly quiet conditions are expected on 09-10 Feb.
