Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Apr 23 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain at very low levels on 23-25 Apr.

Energetic Particles

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal to moderate levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal to moderate levels on 23-25 Apr. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters indicated a slightly enhanced solar environment, presumably associated with CH HSS influence. Winds speeds varied from ~395-486 km/s, total field ranged from 1-5 nT and the Bz component fluctuated between +2 nT to -5 nT. Phi angle was predominantly negative, with occasional rotations into the positive sector.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to remain slightly enhanced on 23 Apr as CH HSS effects continue to influence the solar wind environment. Solar wind speed is expected to be mostly in the 400-500 km/s range for most of the period before beginning to decrease by 24 Apr. A mostly background solar wind regime is then expected to return, persisting through 25 Apr.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was at quiet levels.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be quiet to unsettled on 23 Apr as CH HSS effects persist, but slowly subside throughout the day. Mostly quiet levels are expected on 24-25 Apr as an ambient background regime returns.
