Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Aug 11 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. Region 2770 (N23W17, Hrx/alpha) was the only spotted region on the disk and it continued to undergo gradual decay. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.
Forecast: Very low solar activity is expected to continue through 13 Aug. However, there is a slight chance for C-class flares on 11 Aug from decaying Region 2770.
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached high levels for the sixth consecutive day, with a peak flux of 2,590 pfu at 10/1550 UTC. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux continued at background values.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to reach high levels 11-13 Aug and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to maintain background levels.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were at background readings. The phi angle was predominantly positive.
Forecast: Solar wind conditions are anticipated to remain at or near background levels through 13 Aug.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.
Forecast: Quiet conditions are expected through 13 Aug.
