Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Aug 14 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low under a spotless visible disk. Both Regions 2770 (N26,L=24) and 2771 (S18,L=297) decayed to areas of enhanced plage. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Very low solar activity is expected to continue 14-16 Aug.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached moderate levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux maintained background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to reach moderate levels 14-16 Aug and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind conditions remained near background levels. Total field strength averaged near 2-3 nT, Bz varied between +/- 3 nT, and wind speeds were less than 325 km/s. Phi angle was predominantly positive.

Forecast: Background conditions are anticipated to persist through 14-16 Aug. There is a slight chance that the north polar CH HSS field could come in close enough proximity to Earth for some minor disturbances in the IMF by 16 Aug.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: Quiet conditions are expected to persist on 14-16 Aug.
