Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Aug 25 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to continue at very low levels on 25-27 Aug.
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal to moderate levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux maintained background values.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to continue at normal to moderate levels on 25-27 Aug and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background levels.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters reflected a background solar wind regime. Solar wind speed averaged ~350 km/s. Total field averaged near 5 nT, while the Bz component was between +/- 3 nT. Phi angle was predominantly oriented in a negative sector.
Forecast: Solar wind conditions are likely to become slightly elevated on 25 Aug due to anticipated connection with an extension of the N. polar crown coronal hole. Further enhancements are expected on 26 Aug as CH influence persists. The enhancements should begin to subside by 27 Aug as CH influence diminishes.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.
Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at quiet to active levels on 25 Aug and isolated unsettled periods possible on 26 Aug, in response to coronal hole influence. A return to quiet conditions is expected for 27 Aug.
