Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Sep 01 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low under a spotless visible disk. No Earth directed CMEs were observed in available imagery.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to persist at very low levels on 01-03 Sep.
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached high levels. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background levels throughout the period.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to reach high levels on 01-03 Sep, and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background levels throughout the forecast period.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters reflected the continued influence of a positive polarity CH HSS. Solar wind speed averaged ~575 km/s. Total field ranged from 3-97 nT, while the Bz component saw a maximum southward deflection to -7 nT. Phi angle was oriented in a predominantly positive (away) solar sector.
Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to remain enhanced on 01-03 Sep as CH HSS influence persists.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was unsettled to active.
Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at quiet to active levels, with a chance for an isolated G1 (Minor) storm period, on 01-02 Sep as CH HSS effects persist. A return to mostly unsettled levels is expected late on 02 Sep, lasting into 03 Sep, as the coronal hole moves out of its geoeffective position.
