Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Nov 14 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. The largest flare of the period was a B7 flare at 13/2359 UTC from Region 2781 (S23W73, Hsx/alpha). Region 2782 (S31E37, Axx/alpha) continued to decay over the period. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to persist at very low levels, with a slight chance for C-class activity, over 14-16 Nov.
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was normal to moderate and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at background levels.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be normal to moderate over 14-16 Nov and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were at nominal levels with solar wind speed between 324-401 km/s. Total field ranged from 1-4 nT while the Bz component was between +/-3 nT. Phi angle was oriented in a negative (towards) solar sector.
Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to be slightly enhanced over 14-15 Nov due to the anticipated influence of a negative polarity CH HSS. A return to background conditions are expected on 16 Nov.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.
Forecast: Quiet to unsettled conditions are likely on 14-15 Nov due to the influence of a negative polarity CH HSS. Mostly quiet conditions are expected to prevail on 16 Nov with the return of a nominal solar wind regime.
