Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2021 Feb 09 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. The small spot near the SE limb that was mentioned in the previous discussion was quiet and exhibited decay over the past few hours.
There were no Earth-directed CMEs observed in available imagery.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain at very low levels on 09-11 Feb.
Energetic Particles
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached moderate levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background levels.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal to moderate levels throughout the forecast period (09-11 Feb). The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background levels.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters underwent an over all strengthening this period due to further positive polarity CH HSS influence. Total field reached a peak of 7 nT, but averaged mostly between 4-6 nT. The Bz component sustained a southward deflection of -6 to -7 nT, but was otherwise +/- 5 nT. Wind speeds began the period near 400 km/s and gradually increased to near 500 km/s by periods end. The phi angle was predominantly in a positive orientation.
Forecast: The solar wind environment is expected to remain slightly enhanced through 10 Feb as positive polarity CH HSS effects slowly decrease.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field is expected to be quiet to unsettled 09 Feb with quiet conditions prevailing 10-11 Feb as positive polarity CH HSS effects wane.
