Hi Mike,

Take a trip to your local TV repair shop, & ask if you might do some
dumpster diving therein...!

I make it a point to retrieve & save the deflection yokes (?) on any & all
old TV's/CRT's --- that's the thingy that plugs into the back of the picure
tube. When you peel / cut away all the enamelled wire there, you'll find a
wonderful ferite core inside that makes a dandy common mode RF suppressor!
They even come in two pieces, to help facilitate winding a coke...and best
of all, they work AND they're FREE!
