Bill....
Amazon is your best bet. I have no ideas the cost of the ice cubes (rj45
modular connectors), as I buy them by the box of 10,000.
Seriously, you would be ahead of the 'game' if you bought the premade cables
from Amazon. By the time you purchase a crimper and tester, and the cabling,
your cost would be much higher than if you just bought them. You can get them
color coated as well, as colored cabling is quite expensive.
A side note: If you have an electrical contractor friend, he can get what you
need wholesale and any wiring supplier in your area...'cept the ice
cubes...they are by far, less expensive at Amazon!

Subject: [RFI] Shielded CAT6 Ethernet cable
Does anyone have a recommendation for a high quality CAT6 shielded Ethernet
cable (bulk)?
I’d appreciate any input. Comments on connectors would be welcome also. I’m new
to making up my own cables and looking for a more reliable source of cables for
around the shack.
