I have a 2008 Toyota Tundra (pickup twin of Sequoia SUV) and haven't
experienced any issues in 18 months/18K miles. I run HF-UHF with a Kenwood
TS-2000/RC-2000.
My antennas are mounted in the forward stake pockets using Geotools mounts.
