: My father wants me to buy a Radio Shack line filter but I thought it : would be best to ask here for suggestions. : : Idears? Silent linear transformer based chargers have worked fine for some 125 years. Toss the noisy modern trash and pick up an old charger from a yard sale, thrift shop, junk store, pawn shop, what have you, for about $10 and enjoy the silence forever with perfectly functional century-plus technology.
