I'm considering buying my first amplifier (after almost 30 years barefoot).
I've always heard that running your rig from the 2nd floor of your house
is risky because you can't get a good ground. I've operated my rig from
the 2nd floor for years with no apparent problems. I'm a little afraid to
try running an amp up there, but I also don't really want to move the shack
back into the basement. If necessary, I can move my rig back to the
basement but I'd rather not. Is a KW on the 2nd floor a bad idea or can
it be made to work?
