I had this sort of problem when I lived in Chicago with a very old 
microwave. Fixed it with a capacitor across the AC line. Don't 
remember whether it was line to neutral or line to ground. Think it 
was something like 0.05uf. 

If the cap doesn't kill it, I would also try a ferrite choke on the 
power cable. Study
