I'm looking to pick up an assortment of HF toroids at Dayton. Does anyone know how reliable the standard color codes are for unbranded stuff like I'm apt to find there? I found a table on this reflector (thanks, N3EOY) from the ARRL Handbook, but note that the numbers of some of the more common materials, such as #73, are missing. Does this reflect a renumbering, or something manufacturer specific, or...? 73, Pete N4ZR Check out the World HF Contest Station Database at www.pvrc.org |
