for the last 2+ years I have been on this list
I would say about 90% of the time anyone, including myself,
have ask anything noise related and
have offered audio recordings of the rfi for identification help

the post has been met with derisive remarks and told to
just suck it up and go out and search for the rfi
with (take your pick) am radio, vhf/uhf radio, parabolic dish, what ever

but almost always,
the responses are anywhere from a light suggestion
to out right abusive ones
that generally say 'forget the sound of it'

/I will now don my flame retardant suit
and slither back in my cave

signed
one who has learned the hard way
not to mention audio files for rfi identification purposes to this list

Why not? They have been in the past. What would have suddenly changed?
