Above all, keep your name out of it as much as possible, or you could
have some very unsavory critters looking to pay a visit.
The police raid the wrong house, shoot an innocent person (happening
more and more) and you could get sued. As Kurt says, do your duty,
locate the interference as near as possible then let the other agencies
and authorities make all further determinations.
One of the reasons to hone our abilities to accurately pinpoint the source.

Don't, when locating the sound, do just that, locate it, and, they should
verify before they raid the place, for example, just look at the place for a
little while, you could, after all, be wrong, but it's their job to make
that determination and subsequent action.
