I have several varieties of the Logitech brands. Pretty good battery life
here. Change out - depending on use - 3-6 mo. Or
whenever a full-up contest comes around.

I have a ultra low end MS that I don't like because it's not as energy
efficient.

Latest one was one of these funky curvy Logitech wave varieties which I love
for RTTY contesting - the mouse has a lot of extra
remappable buttons - and the keyboard has a padded shelf so my hands don't feel
numb after a long stretch.

On the RFI, no problems on 160-6 here. I think the units all use GHZ range RF
direct connects.

I would avoid the bluetooth stuff though. The mice I've used with bluetooth
seem to need to sleep too often. The logitechs with
whatever they are doing for RF have no apparent sleep delay that I can see.

Good luck!

You will still have to buy batteries all the time. Did you think about that?
They have to put the batteries somewhere or did you think electricity was
free?
They also caused interference at my sister's house so I told her to give
them to Good Will.
My experience. Do whatever floats your boat
