I was a little surprised by Dave's strong advice against entering a home where RFI is located.
I think the comment was more geared toward entering unknown homes...

For example, we have a new person the region, with more trailers, more comings, and goings, of various persons, and more law enforcement activity from multiple agencies within the past couple of weeks, than I've seen, or heard about for the average person their entire lives.
I'm guessing that's not the type of home to go into alone. However,
friends, and neighbors that I've known for years, hang out with, watch
movies, have a beer chat5 with on the street regularly, yeah, I probably
wouldn't run away from them after so many years, because of a potential
RFI issue.
As for self-concern, and liability, physical risk aside, certainly an
individual, like even the most penny pinching, yet conscientious
business, whether it be a gas station, quicky-mart, bank, or casino, has
items on their person to document, and protect themselves from the
all-too-common idiocy that surrounds them. In a recent conversation
with a local law enforcement representative, we (two persons) were
comparing equipment, specifically to document incidents, and
interactions when out in the field. He had two. We had nine. His was
off. All of ours were running, not counting further remote equipment
monitoring, and documenting the interaction.
Don't needlessly expose yourself, and never, ever, limit yourself.

Kurt
