Hard to say. The noise floor is S9 plus across a large spectrum from
160 to nearly the 40m band. Sounds kinda like power line noise. The
NB at full will knock the sizzle out. Flex 6600. I can hear the noise
with the other antennas that are 100 ft away.

I have a full sized 80m Vertical. I have been inactive for a while. I
fired up for the contest and noticed a terrible noise on the 80m
vertical. I was not seeing this on the other bands. I have not done
much looking yet. Would this source tend to be close? There is a
electric horse tank heater near. I am looking for a starting point.
