Chuck,
The sighting on a RE250 is with a rectangular notch on top of the
electronics
box and a short "blade" on top of the US detector module. The "blade" is
about
1 inch from the center of that module. Sighting is intuitive.
IIRC, the RE website has some photos of their equipment in action. Study
those. BWY, don't expect rifle accuracy on any of the detectors. But
still, the
peak should be VERY well defined when pointed at the target.
