The FCC has already outsourced certification to the TCBs, Peter. Can you
elaborate a bit more on what additional outsourcing you think is possible?

Deregulation is a fine thing, isn't it? Were the FCC inclined, and it's not,
they'd outsource any type of certification (as Ed described) to private vendors
anyway. And we'd find that north of 95%, maybe 99%, of products meet FCC rules.

You can argue that FCC rules are too lax, but again, they aren't about to
change them because the sense of their bosses, the Congress, is not to bother
with any of that lest it harm shareholders or other owners.

Buy lots of ferrite. Distribute it to your neighbors.
