It's almost certainly the inverter that takes the DC from the panels
and converts it to AC usable by household loads (if the house also has
a battery bank, which isn't always the case, then it handles keeping
that topped off as well).
Wasn't there an article in a recent QST about a ham that had RFI from
his own solar installation and all the things he did to mitigate it?
Yeah - here it is. April 2016 issue. If you are a member, and not
near your stack of magazines, it's on the ARRL website. It's the
cover story - "Can Amateur Radio and Solar Power Coexist?" (tl;dr -
yes).
