I think some of the LED tube replacements can run directly from the AC line,
bypassing the ballasts. It's a minor wiring job, which I highly recommend. The
electronics in the tube can interact with the ballast, especially an electronic
one, and generate RFI.
I've installed many LED lights in my house, with no RFI issues. However,
I always test them for RFI before installing them. I haven't had to take any
back, but I did have to replace the power supply for a neighbor's strip lights.
