This is so TRUE.

At our house our GE washer and Panasonic 50 inch plasma TV are incredible RFI 
generators. So far, fingers crossed, I don't hear the neighbors equipment. But 
that may be coming.......

  More than two years ago, I told ARRL that the trash from various switching 
  power supplies and variable speed motor control was at least as big an issue 
  as BPL ever was. So far, I haven't seen anything that looks like a serious 
  initiative to tackle it.
