Eric -

You can purchase a "fox and hound" kit from Time Motion Tools or any phone
installation supply house. They are designed specifically for this
application, and numerous models are available. I believe I've also seen
them at Home Depot, but can't be certain.

You place the fox at the block you want to trace, and the hound picks up the
scent when you tap into the right line further down the path.

Good luck!

I live in an old (70+ years) house with lots of phone lines strung
seemingly all over the place.

As I'm experienceing telephone RFI -- from hearing commercial radio
stations to my transmitter on various phones, I'd like to be able to
trace each block or terminal I've run across to see if they're actually
being used -- and where they go. I have phone lines running from teh
entrance point at the back of the house to the front and back again!

Is there any easy way of doing this?

Thanks in advance,
