Don, WD8DSB:  Kudos to you for your due diligence.

Some Fire Alarm Control Panels and their sensors are also known to trigger 
their fire alarms when a fairly strong HF signal (100 W) is transmitted nearby. 
 It is the responsibility of the alarm manufacturer to fix that problem and the 
problem you are encountering, too.

RFI is only going to get a lot worse, especially with the deployment of 
ubiquitous IoT sensors.
