I should have been more clear, I was talking about commercially
constructed filters... I will be adding some filters to my neighbor's
items, and want commercial ones, for liability reasons.

Don't expect commercial line filters to work, because the noise is
usually on the Green wire (because the Green wire is not connected to
the chassis), which goes straight through those commercial filters.
