Lee,
I've been using WD-1 wire for antennas for the last two decades. The US Army
used to toss it out, and I'd scoop it up.
Good stuff... Three strands of stainless steel and five strands of tin-plated
copper. Incredibly strong, and with the black UV-proof insulation it lasts
forever.
My current antenna is an 80 meter dipole made of it, fed with ladder line.
Works FB!
I'd say use it!
