Please, PLEASE, do not ever remove any QSOs from your log! Especially dupes
are no consequence in the log. It is all sorted out in log checking.
If you remove a QSO that is in another log, then that person will get a NIL
(Not In Log) penalty. On the other hand there is not penalty to either
station for having dupes in the log. In fact, during the contest you should
welcome what may appear to you as a dupe but in fact it isn't in the other
person's log. By leaving all QSOs in your log you will then get credit for
the QSO that matches.
Serial numbers are also very simple. Just log what you copy. Don't worry
about missing serial numbers or duplicate serial numbers. Start with '1'
and do your best to increment by one for each QSO in your log. But always
put in your log exactly what you sent and what you received. Don't worry
about the precise sequence.
